As part of our focus on reading for pleasure, the children will be invited to bring in their favourite book to share with their class. Each House Team have been assigned a week in which they can bring in their favourite book to share with the class on any day that week. Please ensure it has their name in it so books find their way back home safely:
Week beginning 4th March – Compassion House
Week beginning 11th March – Courage House
Week beginning 18th March – Curiosity House
Week beginning 25th March – Challenge House
Your children have log-in details for the following websites at home. Please ask their class teacher if you need a reminder of the user name or password.
Using these resources little, but often, is the most effective way to help your child become more confident in their maths skills.
Key Stage 1
NumBots is all about every child achieving the “triple win” of understanding, recall and fluency in mental addition and subtraction, so that they move from counting to calculating.
Key Stage 2
Times Tables Rock Stars is a maths programme that takes all the worry out of learning times tables and has a proven track record of boosting children’s fluency and recall in multiplication and division.
