Term 1

Welcome to Year 6!
What an exciting start to the year it has been for our Year 6 children! They have returned to school with enthusiasm, confidence and a fantastic attitude towards their learning.
As our oldest pupils, Year 6 have already shown great maturity and are beginning to embrace the responsibilities that come with being role models for the rest of the school. It has been wonderful to see them supporting one another, challenging themselves and approaching new experiences with determination.
This term, the children will be enjoying a wide range of exciting learning experiences across the curriculum. They will be designing and building bridges, comparing Northern Ireland to Brazil and hypothesising theories around light.  We are looking forward to seeing their knowledge, skills and confidence grow throughout the year.
Year 6 is a very special year, filled with opportunities, challenges and memories that will stay with them long after they leave primary school. We are incredibly proud of the way they have started the year and can't wait to see what they achieve!
